Subhadip Bodhak received the B.S. degree in ceramic engineering from the University of Calcutta (India) in 2004, the M.S. degree in materials and metallurgical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (India) in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in materials science from Washington State University (USA) in 2010. His past and present research endeavors are primarily in the fields of biomaterials science and tissue engineering. After finishing the Ph.D. degree, Dr. Bodhak was accepted for prestigious “JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Postdoctoral Fellowship for Foreign Researchers” and he joined the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan, as a JSPS Fellow in October 2010. In 2012, Dr. Bodhak received prestigious National Research Council (NRC) Research Associateship award (2012–2014) and returned to the USA. Among many awards, Dr. Bodhak has been awarded annual Acta Student Award 2009. Dr. Bodhak is author or coauthor of 18 scientific journal articles and 3 book chapters.
