Henri M. Plana

Henri M. Plana had graduated from the Perpignan and Toulouse Universities in France (1987–1991) then he has obtained the M.S. degree in the Aix-Marseille University (1991-1992). Plana has made the Ph.D. thesis at the Marseille Observatory, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, France (1992–1996). He was a Postdoc in IAG, USP, Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil (1996–1999), a Resident Astronomer in OAN, UNAM, Sierra de San Pedro Mártir, Mexico (1999–2001), and a Postdoc at ON, MCT, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil (2001–2003). Since 2003, he has been a Professor in the Santa Cruz State University in Ilhéus, BA, Brazil. Plana's topics of include kinematics of galaxies and compact groups of galaxies.
