Research Experience Dr. Ferroni research activity is committed to pathophysiology studies for the validation of new methods of analysis of ex vivo and in vivo platelet function, as well as the analysis of the mechanisms responsible for the thrombophilic state associated with cardiovascular disorders and/or cardiovascular risk factors, and cancer. Dr. Ferroni is coauthor of 133 full papers, 109 of which have been published on indexed journals [Total Impact Factor: 370 (average IF: 3.4), H index: 24], and 156 abstracts to National and International Conference, 62 of which published on indexed journals. Dr. Ferroni acts as a peer reviewer for many international Journals and is an active member of many Scientific Societies, such as the European Association for Cancer Research, the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis, the Italian Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis and the Italian Society of Internal Medicine.
