Ángel graduated from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 2010, where he also gained a Master by Research (2011) and a PhD (2015). He combined these studies with a residency of the European College of Bovine Health Management (ECBHM). During this training he had also the opportunity of gaining research and clinical experience in other countries and dairy production systems, such as the USA and Wales. Ángel also completed postgraduate studies in Veterinary Education by distance learning at the Royal Veterinary College (UK), being recognised as Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2013. Ángel moved to Australia to join the Production Animal group of the School of Animal and Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University in July 2015 as Lecturer in Ruminant Health and Production.
