Jianping Hua

Jianping Hua received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1998 and 2000, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University in 2004. He joined Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) at Phoenix, Ariz, USA in the summer of 2005 as Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow. He became Associated Investigator at Computational Biology Division at TGen in 2006. His general research interest lies in bioinformatics, signal and image processing, and statistic pattern recognition. His research in genomic signal processing is aimed at diagnosis and prognosis based on genetic signatures, and the analysis of the transcriptional activities through high content analysis technique.
