Tung Lung Tsai
Tung Lung Tsai was born in Chiayi, Taiwan, in 1968. He received the M.D. degree and the Ph.D. degree from the National Yang-Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1994 and 2009, respectively. Since 1998, Tsai is with the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Taipei Veterans General Hospital. Since 2004, he is a Visiting Staff at the Division of Laryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Taipei Veterans General Hospital. From 2003 to 2008, Tsai was a Lecturer of otolaryngology at the School of Medicine, National Yang-Ming University. Presently, he works as an Assistant Professor. He is mainly interested in laryngology head and neck surgery: sensation of larynx and cough, extraoesophageal reflux, computer assistant image diagnostic system of laryngology, speech and voice problem, and head and neck oncology. In 2006, he was recipient of Oral Presentation Prize of Taiwan Otolaryngology Society. In 2009, he was recipient of the Excellent Award at the Annual Thesis Competition of National Yang-Ming University. Tsai is or has been a Reviewer of the journals Head and Neck, Clinical Otolaryngology, Folia Phoniatrica et Logopaedica, and Journal of Chinese Medical Association. He serves as a Member of the Taiwan Otolaryngology Society, Taiwan Clinical Oncology, Taiwan Society of Sleep Medicine, Taiwan Head and Neck Surgery Society, Taiwan Medical Association for the Study of Obesity, and Taiwan Phoniatrics Research Society.
