Mustapha Tlidi

Mustapha Tlidi was born in Morocco, he received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Brussels, Belgium, in 1989 and 1995, respectively. From 1995 to 2002, he held a temporary position in the Faculty of science, ULB. Since October 2002, he has been holding a tenured position with the Belgian National Science Fundation. His research is focussed on diffractive nonlinear optics, space-time instabilities in nonlinear optics, pattern formation, localized structures, photonic crystals fibre ring cavities, domain growth in nonlinear optics, negative refractive index material, and plant ecology. He his also currently teaching nonlinear optics and quantum otpics in the faculty of science of ULB. He is a Member of the Optica Society of America, and an Associate Editor of Advances in Nonlinear Optics.
