Pantelimon Stanica received his M.Sc. degree in Mathematics in 1992 from University of Bucharest, Romania. He completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics at State University of New York at Buffalo, USA in 1998. Currently, he is a Professor and Associate Chair of Research at the Naval Postgraduate School, in Monterey, Calif, USA. His research interests are in cryptology, number theory, and discrete mathematics.
