Alice Caplier

Graduated in 1991 of the École Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs Électriciens de Grenoble belonging to the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INP). She obtained her phD thesis in Image processing in 1995. Since 1997, she has been an assistant professor and a full professor since 2009 and she is working in the GIPSA-lab/DIS lab on the topic of human motion analysis and interpretation in video sequences. More precisely she is working on facial gestures interpretation (facial expressions, emotions, non verbal communication gestures) and facial biometrics. She is also working on image processing related to handicap and especially related to deafness
