Fariba M. Assadi-Porter
Fariba M. Assadi-Porter serves as a Senior Scientist at NMR National Facility and the Department of Biochemistry at Madison (WI). Assadi-Porter received her Ph.D. degree in biomolecular chemistry from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her study was focused on studying mechanism of H+ translocation in F1Fo-ATP synthase. She carried out her postdoctoral training in the areas of protein chemistry, protein expression of difficult protein, and their structural analysis by NMR spectroscopy. Her current research interests are protein-protein interactions by NMR spectroscopy and biochemical pathway analysis for early disease detection by NMR-based metabolomics.
