Ibram Ganesh Ganesh obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, in 1993 and 1995, respectively. He has received University Gold Medal for obtaining first rank in M.S. course. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, India, in 1999. Since then, he is working at Centre for Advanced Ceramics, International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), Hyderabad, India, as a Scientist. He has been working on the development of ceramic honeycombs for various applications including catalytic convertor, preparation of synthetic MgAl2O4 spinel, and mullite grains for refractory applications, synthesis of various single and multioxide materials by microwave assisted solution combustion and solid-state reaction routes. He also got experience on the production of complex-shaped SiC, Si3N4, and SiAlON components by an aqueous gelcasting route. He has more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and seven granted Indian patents.
