Jianzhong Zhang

Jianzhong Zhang received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. From November 2006 to November 2007, he served as a Visiting Scholar in the Institute of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, where he worked on the permanent-magnet generator for wind power application. In July 2012 he was a Visiting Professor in Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Mass, USA. Since 2008, he has been working with Southeast University, where he serves currently as an Research Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include electric machines, power apparatus, and wind power generation issues. He has authored or coauthored more than 80 technical papers and one book and held 31 patents. Since 2008, he has been a Member of IEEE.
