Ingo Nolte studied veterinary medicine at the University of Gießen, Germany where he also finished his Ph.D. thesis. After studies in Cambrige, UK, and in Ohio and California, USA, he gained his currently hold position as a Full Professor at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. He has longstanding expertise as a leading clinical and scientifical researcher within the area of small animal veterinary medicine. His knowledge contains amongst others internal medicine, exceptionally haematological, oncologicalm and gastroenterological aspects. Furthermore he has a leading position in research and development of biomedical technology. Under his special direction, comparative genomics and oncology programs for the development of new molecular therapeutic and the establishment of a canine model for human diseases were founded.
