Xinzheng Yang

Xinzheng Yang graduated in Physics from Nankai University in 1999, and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Optics from Nankai University in 2004. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2008, an Assistant Research Scientist at Texas A&M University from 2005 to 2010, and an Assistant Project Scientist at University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2013. Currently he is a professor of chemistry at Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests focus on applying state-of-the-art theoretical and computational chemistry techniques to understanding molecular electronic structures and elucidating reaction mechanisms for rational catalyst design.
