Denise Carmona Cara

Denise Carmona Cara was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1962. She received the Veterinarian Medical degree, M.A. degree, and the Ph.D. degree from the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, in 1985, 1988, and 1995, respectively. In 2000 and 2001, she served as a Research Fellow at the University of Calgary, Canada. Since 1989, she works as a Professor at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil. She is mainly interested in inflammatory process, leukocyte recruitment, and allergy, especially food allergy.
