Eva M. Barea

Universitat Jaume I, Spain

Eva M. Barea, a holder of M.S. (2000) and Ph.D. (2005) in chemistry, is Assistant Professor at the Universitat Jaume I de Castelló, she works in the Group of Photovoltaic and Optoelectronic Devices of 20 physicists and chemists. Her research activity is focused on nanoscale devices for production of clean energies, in particular dye-sensitized solar cells and water splitting with visible light and semiconductors. Barea is specialist in dye solar cell (DSC) fabrication, optimization, and characterization by impedance spectroscopy with large experience in synthesis of new semiconductor architectures based on metal oxide and in hydrothermal synthesis, in addition to the expertise in the study of recombination on DSC based on new organic dyes.
