Yee Wei Law received his B.Eng. degree (1997) in electrical engineering from University of Southampton, the M.Eng. degree (2002) in visual technology from Nanyang Technological University, and the Ph.D. degree (2005) from University of Twente. He serves now as a Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Melbourne. He participated in many multimillion dollar European projects on wireless sensor networks (WSNs), including EYES (European pioneer), SENSEI, SmartSantander, and the Internet of Things Initiative. His other research area in addition to WSNs is smart grids. He became an Associate of (ISC)2, a Member of Smart Grid Australia Research Working Group, ARC Research Network for a Secure Australia, and ARC Research Network for Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Network, and Information Processing (ISSNIP). He cochaired the Symposium on Sensor Network Security, as part of the ISSNIP annual conference for several years.
