Rosa Maria Esteves Arantes

Rosa M. E. Arantes was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 1963. She received the Medical degree (1981) from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil (1987). His medical residencies were in internal medicine (1987-1989),in pathology (1989-1992) and recieved her Ph.D. degree in cell biology (2000) at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. She held postdoctoral fellowships in Gastrointestinal Research Unit at Queen’s University, Canada (2001) and in Cell Biology Department at Yale School of Medicine, USA (2004-2005). Presently, she is an Associate Professor of pathology at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. She is interested in human and experimental pathology and neurobiology.
