Igor Ivanov obtained both his Ph.D. and Sc.D. degrees from the Institute for Spectroscopy Russian Academy of Sciences,Troitsk, Moscow. He served as a Research Fellow in Atomic and Molecular Physics Laboratories, Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering, Australian National University. His main research interests include processes accompanying laser-atom or laser-molecule interactions, attosecond physics, coherent control of atomic processes, electron correlations,many-body perturbation theory,electronic structure of bound states of atoms and molecules, resonance states in atoms and molecules,and scattering theory.
