Yi-Chang Chung received his Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from National Cheng-Kung University, in 1996, and his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from National Cheng-Kung University in 1991. From July 2001 to September 2001, he was a short-term visiting researcher at the Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica. From 1999 to 2003, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, I-Shou University. From 1996 to 1997, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in National Cheng Kung University. He is specialized in biomaterials, functional polymer materials, surface-modification on materials, nanomaterials, self-assembled methods, nanoimprint process, and biosensing. His research interests include self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) for the fabrication of biomimicking surfaces, applications and preparation of biocompatible nanoparticles, SAMs modification on biosensors, biocompatible and healing-enhancing bioadhesives, and nanoimprinting and microcontact printing for pattern fabrication on flexible display substrates.
