Luis Armando Diaz-Torres
0000-0002-1281-9916Luis Armando Diaz-Torres, Ph.D., graduated in materials Science from the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Morelos, Mexico, in 1998. His research interest are focused on synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of crystalline and amorphous phosphors, nanostructured as well as macroscopic, all of them developed in the Materials Laboratory of the Photonics Department. As a researcher at CIO, he has conducted and collaborated in several research projects sponsored by CONACyT. He is a Funding Member of the Spectroscopy and Materials laboratories at CIO. Currently, he is a member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNI) in level II as well as of many other scientific societies. He has (co)authored more than 70 international papers and has more than 450 citations regarding those publications.
