Christine Dufès

Christine Dufès obtained the M.S. degree in medical and biological sciences (with distinction) in 1996 and the Pharm.D. degree (with distinction and congratulations of the jury), in 1997, from the University of Poitiers, Poitiers, France. In 2002, she got the Ph.D. degree with a European Label (with distinction and congratulations of the jury) from the University of Poitiers, Poitiers, France. Dr. Dufès currently serves as a Senior Lecturer of drug and gene delivery at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. After four years as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cancer Research UK Beatson Laboratories, Glasgow, UK, working on the tumor targeting of a systemically administered dendrimer-based gene medicine, she was appointed as a Lecturer at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, Glasgow, UK, in March 2006, before becoming a Senior Lecturer in June 2012. Her research interests are focused on the design and development of novel tumor-targeted anticancer therapeutic systems and novel therapeutic systems that are able to reach the brain after intravenous administration.
