Chung-Liang Chien

Chung-Liang Chien has been a Professor at the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology since 2006 and an Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, from 1996 to 2006. In 1999, he was a Visiting Scientist at the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy, University of Tokyo. From 1995 to 1996, he was a Lecturer at the Department of Anatomy, National Taiwan University; 1994 to 1995, a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Pathology, Columbia University; 1992 to 1994, a Graduate Fellow at the Department of Pathology, Columbia University; 1989 to 1992, a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Pathology, Columbia University; and 1988 to 1989, a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Anatomy, National Taiwan University. From 1989 to 1995, at Columbia University, he worked on a Ph.D. degree in pathology; 1986 to 1989, at National Taiwan University, he worked on an M.S. degree in anatomy; and 1980 to 1984, at National Taiwan University, he worked on a B.S. degree in zoology. His research focuses on stem cell biology, molecular biology, neuroscience, and development biology.
