Deniz Erdogmus

Deniz Erdogmus received his B.S. degrees
in electrical engineering and mathematics
in 1997, and his M.S. degree in electrical
engineering, with emphasis on systems and
control, in 1999, all from the Middle East
Technical University, Turkey. He received
his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering
from the University of Florida, Gainesville,
in 2002. Since 1999, he has been with the
Computational NeuroEngineering Laboratory,
University of Florida, working with Jose Principe. His current
research interests include information-theoretic aspects of adaptive
signal processing and machine learning, as well as their applications
to problems in communications, biomedical signal processing, and
controls. He is the recipient of the IEEE SPS 2003 Young Author
Award, and is a Member of IEEE, Tau Beta Pi, and Eta Kappa Nu.
