Alfredo Ruggero Galassi

Alfredo R. Galassi was born on 10 August, 1960 in Catania, Italy. He received a degree in medicine and surgery, University of Catania Medical School (1978-1984) and graduated on the 2nd of July 1984. He received a Diploma in cardiology, Royal Postgraduate Medical School, University of London 1985-1986 awarded on the 19th July 1986. He had a Specialization in cardiology from University of Catania (1984-1988) which was awarded on the 25th November 1988 and a Specialization in nuclear medicine, University of Bologna (1988-1991) which was awarded on the 10th of July 1991. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor at Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza" on 17th August 2006. He served as an Associate Professor of cardiovascular diseases at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Catania, from the 1st of December 2006 and Director of Diagnostic and Cardiovascular Interventional Laboratory, Clinical Division of Cardiology, Ferrarotto Hospital from the 15th of December 2005. He appeared on 22 articles as first author, on 14 articles as second or third author, and on 19 articles as coauthor. He published 36 articles in national journals and 81 articles in international articles. Besides, he wrote 3 chapters in books.
