Manish I. Patel
Manish I. Patel, holder of MBBS, M.Med, Ph.D., and FRACS degrees, is a Urological Cancer Surgeon at University of Sydney, Westmead and Sydney Adventist Hospitals. Associate Professor Pate completed a 2 year Urology Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, NY, USA and then took an appointment at the University of Sydney. He has an M.S. degree in cell biology and a Ph.D. degree in prostate cancer therapies. His research interests include optimizing outcomes for urological cancers, clinical trials, and translational research in the area of prostate cancer. Associate Professor Patel, currently, holds a number of positions. These include, Australia NZ Representative to the AUA International Committee, Urological Representative to the Board of Surgical Research RACS, chair ANZUP Bladder Cancer Trials group and Chair of Western Sydney Multidisciplinary team. He has published extensively in the area of urological oncology.
