Peter Hagell is a Registered Nurse with a clinical background in neurology, specializing on Parkinson’s disease and related disorders. He received his Ph.D. degree in medical science (neurology) from Lund University, Sweden, in 2002. Hagell currently holds a position of a Professor of neurological caring science at Kristianstad University. His scientific interests are primarily focused on measuring and understanding disease impact and therapy outcomes. Specifically, he is devoted to outcomes measurement, psychometrics, and the fundamental mechanisms of rating scales. The majority of his scientific work within these areas concern Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders.
