Izumi Taniguchi
Izumi Taniguchi received his B.E. degree in chemical engineering from Kanazawa University, Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, in 1984. He acquired both his M.Che.E. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Greater Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, In 1986 and 1989, respectively. Since 2000, Taniguchi has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology. From 1999 to 2000, he served as an Associate Professor at the International Cooperation Center for Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology. From 1995 to 1999 he served as an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and as a Research Associate at the same department from 1989 to 1996. Taniguchi serves as a Member at The Society of Powder Technology in Japan, The Society of Chemical Engineers in Japan, The Electrochemical Society of Japan, The Japan Petroleum Institute, The Bulletin of the Ceramic Society of Japan, the Japan Association of Aerosol Science and Technology, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Association for Aerosol Research, and the International Society of Electrochemistry in USA.
