Maria V. Garzelli

Carlo Giunti was born in Trieste, Italy, in 1960. He received the laurea degree from the University of Florence in 1986 and the PhD degree from the University of Torino in 1990. In 1990 and 1991 he was Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore (Maryland, USA). From 1992 he is researcher at the Section of Torino of INFN (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare). His main area of research is neutrino physics, with interest also in the physics beyond the Standard Model, the structure of the nucleons and the statistical analysis of data. He has written the book Fundamentals of Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics with Prof. C.W. Kim (KIAS, Seoul, Korea). He created and maintains the website Neutrino Unbound with Marco Laveder (University of Padova, Italy).
