Jihong Yu

Jihong Yu, born in Jan. 1967, working at the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, Jilin University. Obtained BS (1989), MS (1992), and PhD (1995) degrees from Jilin University, and worked as a postdoctral fellow first at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and then at Tohoku University, Japan during 1996-1998. Since 1999 she has been a full Professor in the Chemistry Department, Jilin University, has been appointed as the Cheung Kong Professor since 2007. Her main contribution is the design and synthesis of zeolite and related porous materials. She published near 200 papers in Acc. Chem. Res., Chem. Soc. Rev., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., etc. She serves as Asian Editor of the journal of Micorporous and Mesoporous Materials since 2008, Adiversory Board Member of the journal of Chemistry Mateerials (2009-present), Asian Editor of Solid State Sciences (2007-2008), etc., got several awards such as the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation of China (2001), the 10th Youth Science and Technology Award of China (2007), The National Natural Science Award of China (2007), the 6th Chinese Youth Woman Scientist Award (2009), etc.
