Ilhem Messaoudi

Ilhem Messaoudi serves as an Assistant Professor at the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute, Oregon Health and Science University. She also holds the following additional appointments: Assistant Scientist at the Division of Pathobiology and Immunology, Oregon National Primate Research Center; Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, Oregon Health and Science University. She has received a B.S. degree in biochemistry from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa and her Ph.D. degree from the Cornell University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She serves as the Codirector of the biology of Aging Working Group at the Oregon National Primate Research Center. She is also a Member of the Editorial Board on the Journal of Virology and serves as a Reviewer on 6 additional journals including the Journal of Immunology, AGE, Reviews in Aging Research. Messaoudi's research interests are immune senescence, vaccine development, neuro-endocrine-immunology virology.
