Babu A. Manjasetty
Babu A. Manjasetty works at European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Grenoble Outstation, Grenoble, France. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Mysore, Mysore, India, funded by University Grant Commission (UGC. He did his postdoctoral research at Max-Delbrück Centre for Molecular Medicine, Berlin, Germany, as an Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Fellow. Prior to joining EMBL, he worked at top research institutes, such as Case Proteomics and Bioinformatics Centre, Centre for Synchrotron Biosciences, Brookhaven National Laboratory, NY, USA; University of California Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, Calif, USA; Biotechnology Research Institute, Montreal, Canada; BESSY synchrotron facility, Berlin, Germany. Dr. Manjasetty was involved in conducting many research investigations in the areas of protein crystallography and structural biology which have led to research publications in journals and books. His research interests include bioinformatics, and biotechnology and synchrotron-based structural biology.
