Gunther Auer

Gunther Auer received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Ulm, Germany, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Edinburgh, UK, in 2000. From 2000 to 2001, he was a Research and Teaching Assistant with the University of Karlsruhe (TH), Germany. Since 2001, he has been with NTT DOCOMO Euro-Labs, Munich, Germany. His research interests include self-organized networks and multicarrier-based communication systems, including medium access, cross-layer design, channel estimation, and synchronization techniques.
