Daniele D. Trevisanuto

Daniele D. Trevisanuto studied at the University of Padova, Faculty of Medicine from November 1981 till March 1988. He did his postgraduate studies at the University of Padova, Faculty of Medicine, Speciality of Pediatric Medicine from 1988 to 1992, the University of Padova, Faculty of Medicine, Speciality of Neonatal Medicine from 1993 to 1995, and the University of Padova, Faculty of Medicine, Master on Pediatrics in Developing Countries in 2004. Since 1997, he serves as a Consultant Pediatrician, Neonatologist at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Department, Padua University, Italy. Besides, he served as a Coordinator of the Veneto Region Neonatal Transport Service , Pediatric Department, Padua University, Italy (www.pediatria.unipd.it), a National Instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Italian Society of Neonatology), and a Director of the Neonatal Resuscitation program, Pediatric Department, Padua University, Italy. In addition, he was a Member of ILCOR Neonatal Resuscitation. His fields of interest are neonatal resuscitation, neonatal transport, education, maternal, and neonatal care in developing countries, mechanical ventilation of the neonate (in particular, laryngeal mask airway, nitric oxide, CPAP, liquid ventilation), and markers of myocardial damage in neonatal period. He is author or coauthor of 106 international papers (PubMed).
