Takanobu Nakazawa received his Ph.D. degree in 2002 from Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, he studied in the laboratory of Tadashi Yamamoto, Ph.D., in the Division of Oncology, Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo. His work focused on the regulation of NMDA receptor function by tyrosine phosphorylation. Dr. Nakazawa currently works as an Assistant Professor at Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo, where his research focuses on molecular mechanisms of higher brain function, and their role in human diseases such as schizophrenia.
