Shurong Sun received the Ph.D. degree from Shandong University, China, in 2006. From November 2003, she has been working as a Professor at University of Jinan, China. From September 2009 to February 2010, she has been working with Professor Martin Bohner as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Mathematics and Statistic, Missouri University of Science and Technology. She acts as a Reviewer of Mathematical Reviews, a Member of the International Society of Difference Equations, and the Lead Guest Editor of Special Issue on Recent Developments and Applications on Discrete Fractional Equations and Related Topics for the journal of Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society. Her research interests include oscillation of differential and difference equations, dynamic system on time scales, Sturm-Liouville theory, spectral theory of Hamiltonian systems, boundary problems, fractional differential and difference equations, and hybrid systems.
