Aage R. Møller
Aage R. Møller received his medical education (Cand. Med) from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. Then, he gained the Med. Dr. (Ph.D.) degree in medicine in 1975 from the same medical school. He occupied several academic positions such as Assistant Professor of physiology at Karolinska Institute, Associate Professor of physiology and otolaryngology, and later (tenured) Professor of Neurological Surgery, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a Professor of cognition and neuroscience. He is the holder of the Founders Endowed Chair, The University of Texas at Dallas School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. Møller is the author and coauthor of more than 200 papers in referred journals, over 100 chapters in professional books. Moreover, he is a single author of 17 books and an editor or coeditor of 11 books, mostly in the area of neuroscience.
