Aage R. Møller received his medical education (Cand. Med) from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. Then, he gained the Med. Dr. (Ph.D.) degree in medicine in 1975 from the same institution. He occupied several academic positions such as Assistant Professor of physiology at Karolinska Institute, Associate Professor of physiology and otolaryngology, and later Professor of neurosurgery, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a Professor of cognition and neuroscience and a holder of the MF Jonsson Endowed Chair, University of Texas at Dallas School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. Møller is the author and coauthor of 185 papers in referred journals, over 200 book chapters, and other publications. Moreover, he is a single author of 11 books and an editor or coeditor of 8 books, most in the area of neuroscience.
