Kazusuke Maenaka

Kazusuke Maenaka received his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees from the Toyohashi University of Technology, Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan, in 1982, 1984, and 1990, respectively. Since 1993, he has been with the Department of Electronics of the Himeji Institute of Technology. By unification of universities in the Hyogo prefecture in April 2004, he joined the University of Hyogo, Kobe, Hyogo, Japan where he is presently a Professor. Since 2008, he has been the Project Leader of the Maenaka Human-Sensing Fusion project supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency. His research interests include MEMS devices and technology, especially silicon mechanical sensors and their integration.
