Masha Y. Ivanova

Masha Y. Ivanova is a Research Assistant Professor of psychiatry and psychology at the College of Medicine, University of Vermont (UVM), Burlington, USA. She received her Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology from the University at Albany (State University of New York) and completed her predoctoral clinical internship and postdoctoral research fellowship at the UVM Research Center for Children, Youth, and Families. Ivanova’s research aims to better understand how proximal and distal environmental factors contribute to the development of emotional and behavioral problems for children and adolescents. The current lines of Ivanova’s research include the cross-cultural calibration of taxonomic constructs of psychopathology and the development of a parenting intervention to enhance family stability.
