Farid El-Tantawy

Farid El-Tantawy is a Professor of material science and engineering. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Physics Department, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from the channel system among National Research Center of Ceramic Technology, Faenza, Italy, and Suez Canal University on the theoretical and experimental high engineering ceramics for biomedical and electronic applications. Later on, he joined the Liquid Alloy Laboratory and Biomaterials Laboratory, Niigata University Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering, Japan, as a Visiting Professor. Recently, he joined the Faculty of Science, Department of Physics, Firat University, Elâziğ, Turkey, as a Visiting Professor at Nanoscience and Nanodevices Laboratory with Professor Dr. Fahrettin Yakuphanoglu. He has research interests in the preparation, characterization, and nanodevices of nanostructures of advanced materials by several chemical and physical routes. Also, he has research interests in conducting polymer nanocomposites for modern technology. Professor Farid has published more than 200 papers in impacted journals.
