Algirdas Pakstas
Algirdas Pakstas received M.S. degree in radiophysics and electronics in 1980, Ph.D. degree in systems programming in 1987, and Professor title in 1997. Currently with the London Metropolitan University where he is doing research in communications software engineering, multimedia communications, and real-time systems. He has authored and edited 3 research monographs and over 140 other publications. He is active in the IEEE Communications Society Technical Committees on Communications Software, Enterprise Networking and Applications, and Multimedia Communications. He is involved in organization many IEEE Communications Society conferences in various capacities. He has given a few tutorials in the conferences on the subjects of intraextranets, network planning, and network reliability. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, IEEE Computer and Communication Societies, as well as Member of ACM and the New York Academy of Sciences.
