Meng-Hsueh Chiang received the B.S. degree, in 1992, in electrical engineering from the National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, and he obtained the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, in 1995 and in 2001, respectively. His doctoral research was focused on compact modeling of SOI CMOS devices. In 2001, Professor Chiang joined Advanced Micro Devices Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, USA, where he was engaged in compact modeling and characterization of advanced SOI CMOS technologies. In 2003, he joined the National Ilan University, Yilan City, Taiwan. Dr. Chiang has been working at the National Cheng Kung University since the beginning of 2014. His research interests include semiconductor device physics, modeling, and simulation.
