Meng-Hsueh Chiang received the B.S. degree, in 1992, in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla, USA, in 1995 and in 2001, respectively. His doctoral research was focused on compact modeling of SOI CMOS devices. In 2001, Chiang joined Advanced Micro Devices Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif, USA, where he was engaged in compact modeling and characterization of advanced SOI CMOS technologies. In 2003, he joined the National Ilan University, I-Lan, Taiwan, as a Professor of Electronic Engineering. His research interests include semiconductor device physics, modeling, and simulation.
