Yoshifumi Watanabe

Yoshifumi Watanabe received the Ph.D. degree of pharmaceutical sciences from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1986. He spent about three years in Syntex Research (USA) as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Since 1990, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology mainly studying immunology, hepatology, and tissue engineering. He was a Visiting Research Associate in Harvard Medical School. Presently, he serves as a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Musashino University. He is mainly interested in immunology, cancer biology, and tissue regeneration.
