Bruce G. Redman
B. G. Redman received his Osteopathic medical degree and Internal Medicine training at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a 3-year Medical Oncology Fellowship at Wayne State University in 1987. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He serves currently as a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He works as the Lead Medical Oncologist for the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic, one of the largest melanoma clinics in the US. His primary interest is in the immunotherapy of cancer, specifically melanoma and kidney cancer. His clinic research is focused on the evaluation of novel therapeutics in the treatment of melanoma and kidney cancer. He has served as a Consultant to the United States FDA and currently serves as the Executive Officer of the SouthWest Oncology Group overseeing the melanoma committee.
