Dr. C. Anandharamakrishnan, working as a Senior Scientist at Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore from 1999. Completed B.Tech and M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from A.C.Tech, Anna University, Chennai during 1994 and 1996, respectively and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK under Commonwealth Scholarship programme. Area of research is Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element Modeling of food processing, Computational modelling of biological systems, Spray drying and spray-freeze-drying of food products, Micro and nano encapsulation of food ingredients. Granted 7 international patents including an US, Japan, Australia and PCT patents along with 7 Indian patents. Supervised 33 post graduates and undergraduates thesis and currently, supervising 5 Ph.D research students. Elected as a Member of Institute of Engineers and Editorial Board member of Journal of Food Science and Engineering. Peer reviewer for more than 10 International Journals.
