Kyousuke Kamada is a holder of the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. He is a Professor and Chairman of neurosurgery at Asahikawa Medical University and a Member of Japan Science and Technology. His areas of expertise include clinical application of multimodality imaging such as functional MRI, diffusion-weighted imaging-based tractography magnetoencephalography, and electrocorticogram. Kamada's major interest is to visualize higher human brain functions, especially language and memory functions. Additionally, he is developing brain-computer interface to decode brain signal using electrocorticogram for human communication. Kamada has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, and he is a recognized international trainer in the area of magneto- and electrophysiology and neuroimaging.
