User Biography : Mr Xavier Nsabagasani Xavier Nsabagasani is based at Child Health and Development Center, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University, Kampala Uganda. He also has affiliation to Karolinska Institutet and Copenhagen Universities. Xavier’s background is social sciences and development studies. His current research focus is about health policies and access to child size medicines in Uganda. He has over 15 years of research experience in both qualitative and quantitative research approaches. Xavier has also worked as an M&E specialist with development projects in Uganda. Xavier is dedicated to studying how interventions impact on transition, well-being and health seeking behavior among marginalized and disadvantaged groups. Over the years, Xavier has done extensive research consultation the fields of health and livelihoods in whole country. Xavier has attended both local and international courses on basic and advanced research methods, health policy and management. He has also attended and presented papers in the local and international conferences. Over the years he has accumulated proficiency and confidence in conceptualizing, implementing and reporting on high level qualitative and quantitative studies, monitoring and evaluation. Xavier has contributed to the body of knowledge through publication of articles in peer reviewed journals in fields of health policy, HIV/AIDS, malaria and pneumonia.
