Frantisek Marko

Frantisek Marko was born in Czechoslovakia in 1963. He received his C.Sc. degree in number theory from Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovakia in 1991 and Ph.D. degree in Algebra from Carleton Univesity, Ottawa, Canada in 1996. He was an NSERC Fellow at University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Canada from 1996 to 1998. Afterwards he worked at Syracuse University and the University of Minnesota. Since 2001 he works at the Pennsylvania State University in Hazleton, USA. His main research interests include representation theory of associative and Lie algebras, Schur algebras, superalgebras, stratifications and quasi-hereditary algebras and algebraic number theory.
