Renata Gorjãoo serves as Professor and Researcher at the Post-Graduate Program in Human Movement Science, Cruzeiro do Sul University, Brazil. She received her B.S. degree in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil in 2004; completed her Ph.D. degree in sciences/human physiology at Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of Sãoo Paulo, Brazil in 2008; got her fellowship in physiology at the same department in 2009. She works with fatty acids, exercise, and immune system and has experience in cellular immunology with emphasis on studies of intracellular signaling modulated by bioactive compounds and exercise. She serves as advisory Ad-hoc reviewer of FAPESP (an important financial agency for research in Brazil).
