Jincai Zhao

Jincai Zhao received his Ph.D. degree at the Meisei University in Tokyo, Japan, in 1994. He has been a Full Professor of environmental chemistry since 1996 and now works at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His scientific activities mainly focus on the photodegradation of organic pollutants via activation of O2/H2O2 by semiconductor or transition metal complexes, photochemical cycling of iron species and the relative environmental photochemical processes, and photocatalytic selective oxidation of organic compounds. Professor Zhao is also the Editorial (Advisory) Board Member of several international journals such as Environmental Science & Technology (ACS), Energy Environmental Science (RSC), and International Journal of Photoenergy.
